(More customer reviews)My wife had a foot operation . 2 bone grafts several pins and screws which require 6 to 8 weeks in a cast . She used the knee walker for 2 weeks now .Due to national security issue my wifes age and weight can not be discussed but I 56 and weigh 225 lbs and its plenty strong for me .
I think some of the bad reviews are due tonot understand the proper application of this device . It's for a leg with a cast below the knee. Its not a standard walker. The front wheel are suppose to swivel 360 degrees.
We live in avery small house (1000 sq foot ) hard wood floors thin Asian rugs and semi long shag in the bedroom several washable throw rugs on tile floors its working well in all areas. The only thing I can say it the turning radius is a bit large but we are in small house . My wife has zero dexterity on crutches if she would have used themfor the last 2 week she probably have a broken arm . We carried it in the car ( it collapses flat so don't tie wrapthe basket to the frame cause it would have to be removed) used it in the total hospital application elevators and garages works fine . Uphill in subterranean garages is not easy but can be done using the brake(so drop off at lobby and park downhill from the elevator in the garage )
You cant say there is any assembly required you remove the plastic cover from the tires .You adjust the leg length (to users height) using 2 pushbutton on each leg . A very civilized little device . I built a wheelchair ramp to connect the front porch to city sidewalk (first week ) first thing she did as I was showing her my work was blast down it like a kid on a skateboard the point I trying to make is I think the walker has improved her moral overall by increased and simplifiedmobility ascompared tocrutches .

(More customer reviews)The item is just excellent for my needs and current level of ability. Lightweight enough for me to 'fold' and maneuver in and out of the rear end of my small Blazer, yet sturdy and large enough for me to convey myself and a modicum of 'stuff'. I just ordered a second one, in fact. The reason for this was that I utilize this rollator heavily at home, and also use it whenever I am 'out and about'.However, I cannot convey it (or much else either -- not the rollator's fault!) up and down the stairs that lie between 'home' and 'out'. So it seemed reasonable, especially at the price, to have one at either end of the stairwell.

I have very severe back problems. I needed a sturdy, lightweight mobility aid. This rollator is sturdy indeed (weight limit 300 pounds), has enough space in the seat for my "seat", collapses easily by raising the seat with one hand, and is lightweight enough for me to lift into my car, despite stenosis, scoliosis, and assorted other issues. Basket is large enough to hold multiple items, and is instantly removable. Handgrips have a small sloping wing that just fits the pad of the hand at the base of the thumb. When trekking around the Mayo Clinic, I have found this small 'resting' wing exceptionally helpful.

The best recommendation I can make for this product is that I have just ordered that second one.

(More customer reviews)Fantastic rollator.I have a Dolomite given to me by the VA, which is significantly more expensive.The Rollite is superior in every respect.Sturdy and wide enough that I'm not constantly kicking the wheels as I walk ... I love it!Folds to 7 inches deep to fit in the car, or get out of the way at restaurants or when not in use.Super for travel!The seat is actually deep enough (unlike my "other" rollator) that you can sit comfortably and not worry about sliding off onto the floor.After a couple of years of use, I'd strongly recommend the Rollite, particularly if you're outside the home and taking your rollator in and out of the car.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item from Medical Supply 4U for use by my 88-year-old father.When it arrived, the handbrakes were not the loop locks as shown on the model on the web site.Instead, the rollator had very stiff straight locks that were required great effort for both my father and me to engage. A conversation with the Invacare tech department revealed that the model with the loop locks has been discontinued. After numerous calls to Medical Supply 4U and their promises to refund my payment--NONE of their promises have been fulfilled. It seems that I am stuck with a product that my father cannot use. I would never ever recommend this product nor the supplier.

(More customer reviews)The knee walker was reasonably priced, well made and sturdy.It was easy to assemble.When the back wheels are on the outer leg setting, the walker is very stable. It took about 10 days to arrive with the free shipping, probably because I'm in California, and it shipped from the east coast.The only problem it had was that it doesn't steer.It was well worth the money though.I wouldn't have paid the extra $300 for a knee walk/er that did steer.
