(More customer reviews)I purchased these to replace the standard grey foam grips that tend to break down over time.About a week into it I put one of the old grips on just to see how they compared and after a few days I'm now back to using the old ones despite the fact that they're slowly disintegrating.The gel pads don't seem to offer as much cushion as the standard pads and there's a "dead spot" where the material is sewn together that you have to make sure is always spun to the bottom before using them.You'll know right away if you forget.The material will likely last longer but I was really looking for added cushioning, I don't plan to be on crutches long enough to outlast the material.
