(More customer reviews)I'm handicapped and do a lot of sitting, and needed an air cushion to help ease the pain--they make a great deal of difference in pressure points on the behind.I had gotten two of these waffle cushions from my stay at the hospital for knee surgery (they used them under my legs).I didn't know at the time they were bariatric cushions.We used one for my mom when she was living with me during her final stages of cancer.It made a big difference for her--it helped with the pressure points, especially on her tailbone.Unfortunately, they don't last as long as they should--I and my mom both weighed under 300 pounds, much less than the 700 pound limit, but they don't hold up for more than 3 months, even with not over-inflating or over use.I had hoped that this model was sturdier than the one I brought home from the hospital, but it seems to be the exact same thing.I can in no way imagine that this item is worth what I paid.Really--can you imagine paying $80-$100 for a plastic air cushion with no cover?I wish I had researched it a little better, but I was desperate.The pluses are its size (very ample) and the fact that it does work very well when it is not leaking.However, next time, I will try another brand.
