(More customer reviews)I purchased this board to be used by a family member. Having worked in the health-care field for years, I had used transfer boards quite frequently. This plastic one is much better. There is no need to worry about the varnish peeling off, getting splinters or cracking the board. The plastic is easy to use, the minor slant and tapered ends are a help, and it is long enough for transfer from wheelchair to shower chair.
