It is highly functional and the larger surface makes it perfect for having several things on it at once! I have my wide-screen laptop with cooling pad, mouse, cameras and the ever present Mt Dew Code Red! I can use it with my rocker-recliner, wheelchairs (regular and electric) or when I am confined in bed. It is just perfect and I really love it - price is really great too for the value!
