Never have I experienced such a badly made wheelchair made with cheapest nuts, bolts, connectors, etc. The wheelchair, one month old, is falling apart, literally. A wheel fastener fell out while transporting in a medical van. Now, a chintzy spring hold that fastens the front of the arm broke. I paid $711, the additional fees for custom seat size and swingback arms mounts up; this wheelchair is no bargain from the getgo. The better made Invacare Tracer IV has a lower base price, so what great value is Pride Mobility's only (thank goodness) manual wheelchair that looks glitzy and ritzy, until you examine the parts which don't hold it together. If you are severely disabled and depend on sides, etc. for stability, you will get hurt using this wheelchair. Pride Mobility claims safety a prime feature? In a pig's eye.
